Megaphone Korea Signature Series — 01. Director’s Pick
‘Director’s Pick’ is a professional actor recommendation system, the flagship series of the online audition platform ‘Megaphone Korea’.
‘Director’s Pick’ provides 1:1 auditioning experience with top-tier domestic movie directors, alongside with a detailed feedback of the actor’s performance. Actors selected through the program are registered in ‘Director’s Pick’ section prepared within the official ‘Megaphone Korea’ website.
One factor that makes the ‘Director’s Pick’ program outstanding amongst many other auditions is that it recognizes the value of “participation” itself.
Normally, auditions tend to focus only on the casting process, often neglecting aspects other than recruiting the fitting actors.
Countless audition participants meet with the harsh reality of failure notice lacking clear reasoning or unnecessary consumption of time & energy.
Megaphone Korea believes the program ‘Director’s Pick’ will solve such problems by establishing a system where the actors can grow concordantly with the audition progress.
During the ‘Director’s Pick’ audition, actors perform their acts for 15~20 minutes, then receives personal feedback from the approved movie directors.
