Other than just endlessly waiting for producers to miraculously notice your registered profile, you can also search and find currently open auditions on the platform yourself.
First, go to the audition menu and search for the audition that you would like to participate.
Below each audition announcement is an ‘apply’ button, which begins your application process.
Select the profile picture/video that you think best suits the role you are applying for.
Specify the role you wish to apply.
You could also fill in additional statements that you would like to deliver to the casting director.
Once you finish these steps, your application is ready to be sent.
2. Checking Audition Progress
If you are familiar with auditions, you may have experienced the inconvenience of waiting forever just to be met with absentminded notice from the casting directors.
Megaphone Korea, aiming to build a fair & just auditioning system, provides a system that updates the current progress of the applied audition.
On the upper-right section of the homepage is the audition management menu, where you can review the progress of auditions you have applied for.
Unread — Profile has not been reviewed yet
Read — Profile has been reviewed
Profile Accepted — First pass
Nominee — Second pass
Final Decision — Role accepted
*Followings are just an approximate figure to assert your estimated progress thus the details of the progress may differ for each casting director.
The applications are shown as below for producers:
Even though you are unfortunately rejected, you will receive a reasoning with your rejection notice, providing feedbacks for your performances.
